Using the Raspberry PI and Open Source Project to Record and Analyze Thrashing Frequencies of Microorganisms

This poses a difficulty when trying to collect worm samples from sources in the wild. We have begun work on a device that would allow scientists to implement field sampling, using the raspberry pi and popular open source software. Building from the work being done with the arduino board we chose the raspberry pi because of its simplicity, processing power, and large community of supporters.
