Congratulations to Timothy Boycott '16 and Jingyi Gao '17 whose 2015 URSI project was recently published and featured on NPR and Scientific American!

The work of two URSI fellows, Timothy Boycott '16 and Jingyi Gao '17, and their research mentor, Professor Megan Gall, was recently published in PLoS ONE and featured on NPR and a Scientific American podcast.  They found that deer browsing in northeastern temperate forests affects sound propagation, which may have impacts on bird communication and fitness.
